"We've been using Osteo Aid for Jessie, our beautiful 7 1/2 year old shepherd/husky/rottie mix for the past 3 years. She’s a very athletic dog who has recently undergone the TPLO procedure for torn cruciates on both knees. The most recent TPLO being this summer. Because of these intrusive, yet effective surgical procedures, it is imperative that we have her on a quality supplement to stave off the possibility of future arthritis. "We started using Whole Hound supplements in Fall of 09. Previously my Aussie Shepherd had very low calcium levels, even though he was on the highest dosage of a Calcium supplement. We changed him to Whole Hound Calcium Health and within a month, his calcium levels were perfect. We feed raw to our dogs, so a correct calcium intake is very important. We also use the Digestive Support and I find it really helps. My little Blue Heeler who always looked a bit bloated and had a tendency to gain weight very easily, is now in perfect shape.
